TRAVEL BACK.
Our photos are our return ticket to moments otherwise gone.
10 years from now when your kids are looking through your wedding photos, they’ll be able to share in the love you and your hubby shared. They’ll be able to feel how much fun it was and see that crazy Uncle Mike’s dance moves still haven’t improved.
Embrace it.
If you're like most couples, you don’t feel comfortable when there's a camera around. And the thought of posing for photos only dials up that awkward feeling.
It’s way outside your comfort zone.
I get it. At my wedding I had all of those same awkward feelings.
The good news is…
My goal is for you to have fun and connect with one another. We’ll chat, take some photos and share some laughs. And you won’t even realize when it happens, but soon enough you’ll forget all about the camera.
I’m pretty laid back and that lends itself well to directing my couples in a friends hanging-out with friends kinda way.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
“My husband doesn't love being in front of the camera, Vaughn had him laughing and relaxing easily! He was able to make even our posed shots look natural and candid. Not only is his work amazing, but he's also a ton of fun and such a breeze to work with.”

What’s Important
As a travel photographer, I’m inspired by new surroundings. You can be sure that I'll learn and draw inspiration from how you do you.
As we prepare for your wedding day, I'll be prepared and have all the little details that are important to you sorted out. This way when I arrive, it’s high fives all around and we dive right in.
I’ll guide you in preparing your family photo list ahead of time so that family photos will be organized and efficient.
No Rules
The biggest piece of advice I give every couple is to do you. Plan your wedding day the way you want it to be.
I’m all for less posing and more laughing. Less insta-trends and more timelessness.
My Photography Era
When my wife and I were planning our wedding, the only task she trusted me with was finding a photographer. I didn’t even own a camera at the time, but she knew I’d always had an strong interest.
Fast-forward to our wedding day…
The photographers we hired were incredible. I had no idea what they were doing but I was so interested in how they were doing it. They were personable, talented and patient with my persistent questions.
On our flight home, I told my wife I wanted to finally give photography a go and within a year I’d shot my first wedding.
What to Expect…
Before Your Wedding
I’m quick on the draw with emails, responding as fast as I’m able to. Leading up your wedding I’m an open book - ask me anything - I’m happy to help anywhere I can. For example, I typically draft a sample wedding day timeline for my couples to give them a head start with their planning.
During Your Wedding
I generally show up a little early to offset any potential traffic and to walk the venue grounds. Throughout your wedding day I shoot candid for the most part while jumping in and taking the lead at appropriate points along the way. Learn more about my approach here.
After Your Wedding
I don’t dilly dally and typically have some sneak peeks to you in 1-2 days then your entire wedding gallery to you within 1-2 weeks. This naturally depends on my schedule however, it’s rare that I’m delivering photos and albums outside of that timeframe.
