Blue Mountain Gondola wedding photo

Your guide to the best wedding venues in the Collingwood area.

I've shot tons of engagement sessions and weddings in Collingwood and I’m super excited to share my top picks for wedding venues in the area. Collingwood is such a gem with amazing photo spots ranging from the gorgeous waterfront to mountain peaks and even charming fields and old ruins. In addition, the downtown core has that classic architecture vibe that makes for some stunning images.

Here’s the scoop on the top wedding venues in the Collingwood area:

  • Blue Mountain Village

  • Living Water Resort, Bear Estate

  • Craigleith Ski Club

Blue Mountain Village | The Blue Mountains, Ontario

Perfect for: Mountain vibes, loads of accommodation options, indoor/outdoor options
Best time to enjoy: Year round

Blue Mountain is one of Ontario’s most popular tourist destinations and an amazing choice for your wedding. With tons of attractions, plenty of hotels and breathtaking views of the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay, Blue Mountain Village should definitely be on your venue radar.

You’ll have endless options here! There are so many stunning photo spots and a variety of indoor and outdoor ceremony locations to pick from. Check out the Village Conference Centre - it’s just a hop away from the village, with high ceilings, rustic vibes and huge windows that showcase those mountain views.

If you want to wow your guests, think about having your ceremony at the mountain top! The scenery with the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay is absolutely jaw-dropping. And once you say I Do” everyone can hop on the gondola for a fun ride back down to the village. It’s the perfect way to celebrate and give your guests plenty of Instagram content!

Oslerbrook Gold Club wedding

Oslerbrook Golf and Country Club | Collingwood, Ontario

Best time to enjoy: Spring to Fall

The first time I visited Oslerbrook Golf Club, I was sold on it as a wedding venue. It’s set against the stunning backdrop of 230 acres of lush Niagara Escarpment greenery and the beautiful blue of Georgian Bay. The clubhouse is a jaw-dropping 12,500 sq. ft. and features gorgeous timber, stone, and glass - plus, it sits high up with amazing views of the manicured lawns and gardens.

You’ve got to check out the impressive stone fireplace and the large terrace is perfect for your guests to mingle and soak in that fresh Georgian Bay air. For photos, the rolling hills and mix of short and tall grass are just dreamy!
